Greeting to All,
The 19th Annual Black History Month Mass, hosted by the African American Catholic Center for Evangelization (AACCFE), will be celebrated virtually on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 4:00 PM (PST). The theme of the Mass is “A CRY FOR RACIAL JUSTICE.” We are privileged to have as Celebrant and Homilist, Reverend Oscar J Pratt, Jr. of the Archdiocese of Boston.
Father Pratt’s dynamic preaching will harmonize this special liturgy that affirms and celebrates our cultural diversity in Word and Sacrament. All are welcome - Catholics and non-Catholics of all racial and ethnic backgrounds; whether local or from across the nation!
Please join us as we gather to celebrate the Blackness of the African American Culture and the gifts it brings to the church and the world. There will be a special recognition of individuals among us who will be honored with the Daniel Rudd Award “Keepers of the Flame” for the dedication and commitment they’ve shown in sharing their time, talents and gifts to make a difference in their parishes and communities.
We hope to see you, your families, and friends for the 19th Annual Black History Month Mass on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (PST)!
